Hi Christine, my DD will be in primary 1 too next year. And daydreaming was the one factor that made me do the test which then identified she’s in the gifted range. Her K2 teachers kept telling me that my DD’s always daydreaming in class. I was so worried. But the psychologist I met said its normal for gifted kids. They are probably under challenged in their learning environment. I also shared the psychologist report with her kindergarten. This ensured that her teachers are aware of her learning “needs”. Thus far my DD doesn’t have any more complains of daydreaming.
Im wondering how many mensa members here will be in P1 next year. Maybe there should be a meetup for the kids…
