As the macro maker in my company, I feel exploited. It's ok if they assign it to me as another task, but they seem to think that creating this macro takes 0 man hour and still expects me to produce as much work as when i do not have to create macro for them. And their basic understanding of excel formula is very lacking that some of the things they requested can be simply done with formula instead. Add to that their inability to follow simple instructions written clearly (skip one step, or do step 5 before step 4) and then have the galls to come ask me why my macro doesn't work makes me a bit depressed. I could make it more user friendly, but there are too many special cases with their files (one has 9 columns, the other has 12, same item can have different headers) that it's better to let them fit their data into my set template format rather than write a macro to automate the transfer.
