Hi, I could probably give you some advice since I’m a psychologist and used to work in the special needs area.

If you require assessment done there are a few places I could recommend, but I wonder whether his behavior is a problem area, as in if he is coping in school and studies and social skills at the moment? Many of the developmental disorders (none physical disorders, except autism) are only be tested after 6 years old, and also at least 1-2 years of formal schooling typically.

Getting bored easily with school doesn’t necessarily means that the problem lies with him, it could be that he already knows what is taught in school. If that is the case he might require further challenging activities, books, after school classes, to motivate him. Without seeing the child, we won’t be able to tell whether if he has other developmental issues (such as ADHD etc.), or whether he needs more advance stimulated learning.
