Hi, to ride on this topic. is it a good idea or necessary to disclose the info that the child is gifted to the school or their teacher? My boy’s preschool teacher has noticed and feedbacked on his ability to read independently and has been asking how we taught him to. Do you think the child will benefit if the teacher knows that we have him tested, so she can pay him more attention and probably challenge him further during class? or is it just not necessary and will be a better idea that we keep it from her and just let our child go through the lessons normally like the other kids.
