I first met Li Wen Hiew when he was a volunteer with the Marketing subcommittee, which I was chairing at the time. We needed volunteers to help man the Mensa booth at a parenting festival, and Li Wen was very enthusiastic. Not only did he bring his girlfriend, Faith, with him, but he also stayed on to help even when his shift was over.

When there was an opening on our Management Committee, I knew that he was someone I could depend on to fill the role of Director of Membership (Events). For the past one year, he helped to invite speakers for our Soapbox, arranged for our CNY and Christmas annual events, and even took on extra projects such as the Photography Competition. #weFORMensa
