I think it is important to find out why your child is daydreaming in her kindergarten. It could be that her development is faster or slower than her peers, so class will be boring, and of course if class is boring that she will not pay attention. You will need to find a class that suits her learning abilities, or a class not focusing on academics (children are not meant to sit and pay attention for 6 hours non-stop, maximum attention span at 6 years old is maybe 10 minutes?) Or if let’s assume she is smarter and develop faster than her peers at kindergarten, then signing her up for more challenging classes outside of kindergarten maybe helpful.
If you feel it’s not about academics or easy/difficult curriculum of the school, or if you feel she has some attention problems outside of school, even when she is at home or when playing with other children, then it is highly recommended for her to get a full psychological assessment done to see whether she has ADHD or other developmental issues.
