benszeto had mentioned that ‘mentorship’ is superficial.
It was suggested as a public platform actually … to provide ‘visibility’.
How will anyone (in a position to benefit) know to reach out unless they are aware we are there?
Mentorship is of course best done one to one several to one.
As nicholaslai stated, in that event, it is more social interaction i.e. getting career advice in a particular industry, etc.
To start with we need a structure around this.
Both i.e. improving visibility as well as discussing in a more social setting are not negatives.
The intent is to push the current envelope i.e. the Mensa envelope and not to remain inactive because any attempt to do otherwise is critiqued.
