Thks for your reply.
She always has a slight “daydreaming” problem. It simply got worse due to sch/class environment. (Before the principal sold sch, she started cost-cutting measures”.)
sometimes she’s very sharp or very blur. I got worried when I observed that she spaced out in the middle of a birthday party.
With a class size of 25-30 in primary one, i don’t think the teacher can pay special attention to her. I just hope they’ll allow her to do her own thing after she completes her work. I don’t want her to just sit there & space out or chew her nails.
I also think she may fall asleep in class …
Generally she does not give much trouble to teachers.
She’s sociable, *mostly cooperative and very talkative.
I do probes to assess her ability on & off. I find that her inattention (ability to focus for long) shows up in Math, not language worksheets. Error rate :10%, similar to some children with learning difficulties.
It’s prob difficult and not very useful to assess her.
She only has ballet & piano enrichment at the moment. She’s good at language, logic and math (although she hasn’t been exposed much to pri math yet)
She enjoys art very much. I bought her some DIY paint canvas kits. I found she has mild difficulties concentrating; she also tends to use wrong muscles.
